Congresswoman Anna Luna vs the DOD

Congresswoman Luna on UAPs

Congresswoman Anna Luna (R, FL 13th) has once again confronted the “Cone of Silence” surrounding unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) that the Department of Defense is said to maintain.  She chairs the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, which is a subcommittee under the House Oversight Committee of the U.S. House of Representative so she is privy to classified briefings on this topic.

While speaking on the Joe Rogan podcast on August 13, 2025 Congresswoman Luna, shared some provocative comments on the topic of UAPs.  Her comments have been edited and in some cases, redacted for clarity purposes.

“I can also tell you, and this might sound crazy, but based on our investigations and stuff that we've seen, okay, there is definitely something that I think would rival what we know currently about physics and a technology that potentially is out there that we don't have the ability to reproduce. . .I was actually able to ask some of the witnesses, you know, what are these things? They keep saying 'interdimensional.' And then, when you talk about the interdimensional aspect of, you know, are these things pre-existing, maybe outside of what we currently know as our own dimension, that stuff can kind of all sound crazy. But at the end of the day, you know, my job as an investigator is to receive all the information and decipher it.

I think that some of the technology that exists—that whatever these things have, these energy things have (they call them interdimensional beings)—I think that they can actually operate through the time spaces that we currently have. And that's not something that I came up with on my own; that's based on stuff that we've seen and information that we've been told. . .What I can tell you, without getting into classified conversations, is that there have been incidents that I believe involve very credible people who have reported movement outside of time and space.

Have I seen a portal? No. Have I seen a spaceship personally? No. Have I seen evidence of this? Yes. Have I seen photo documentation of aircraft that I believe were not made by mankind? Yes. I have seen photos . . . I was in a SCIF [Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility], and I can't discuss all that was in the SCIF, but what I can tell you is, based on the photos that I've seen, I’m very confident that there are things out there that have not been created by us.”

Congresswoman Luna previously served in the Air National Guard, and her job specialty was in the area of airfield management. She recalled hearing a number of military pilots discussing close encounters with exotic aircraft capable of maneuvers that are possibly centuries beyond our present capabilities. However, they were reluctant to make official reports about these encounters because they feared repercussions concerning their careers. They might lose their security clearances, be grounded, or even discharged. She mentions that she and Congressman Tim Burchett (R, TN) received threats of their own.

“What I will tell you is, you know, there have been two members of Congress who are actually helping to lead these investigations with me. The reason I say that is because, up until last Congress, if you even mentioned the words UAP or UFO, people actually told us that if we went forward with these investigations, we would ruin our political careers.”

Congresswoman Luna did not mention who the third person was, but it was possibly Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R, NC) or former Congressman Matt Gaetz (R, FL). Those members of the U.S. House of Representatives have traveled to military bases such as Eglin AFB in Florida to investigate whistleblower allegations of cover-ups of UAPs and threats made to the whistleblowers. Members of the House, both Republicans and Democrats, have reported being treated rudely and denied cooperation by military authorities.

Why dimensional?

Ever since David Grusch testified before the House Oversight and Accountability Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs in July 2023, I have personally concluded that any “off-world” technology (designated as NHI or non-human intelligence) observed likely arrived via a dimensional portal rather than across the vast distance of space. On the other hand, I don’t discount the possibility that interstellar objects resembling comets might be seeding our galaxy with drones or probes much like we are on places like Mars.   These “comets” might have taken millions of years to arrive here.  Objects such as the “Mosul Sphere“, taken from an MQ-9 Reaper UAV in April 2016 over Mosul, Iraq, would be just one example. Some of these crafts are barely more than the size of a basketball, so they may very well be drones themselves. They could originate from Earth’s future, or perhaps an underwater ocean base hitherto undetected. As for what the life forms that made these objects might be like, the sky is literally the limit!

Dimensional craft can (in theory) change shape as they pass through our 3D + 1 world. They can appear and disappear suddenly as they enter and exit our world though portals.  Worst of all (in theory), we woud be virtually defenseless.

There are people in the current administration such as CIA Director John Ratcliffe who understand the UAP issue.  Ratcliffe is on record of having said:

. . .objects that have been seen by Navy or Air Force pilots, or in satellite imagery, that engage in actions that are difficult to explain, movements that are hard to replicate, that we don’t have the technology for, or traveling at speeds that exceed the sound barrier without a sonic boom.

There was a time in my life when I was involved in this area. My name is in the Blue Book files, I knew some of the “players”, I visited the Pentagon office that tracked UFOs and so on.  Then, I launched my career.  Now that I’m retired, I’m paying a bit more attention to what’s going on.

There’s been a flood of new reports in the last eight to ten years.  As Director Ratcliffe said on a Fox interview in 2021: “Frankly, there are a lot more sightings than have been made public . . . multiple sensors that are picking up these things. They’re unexplained phenomenon, and there’s actually quite a few more than have been made public.”

My hypothesis is that we’ve improved our radar and our electronic “footprint” in the past decade to the point that we are now able to detect objects that were always there in the first place.  The improvement might be due to advances in radar signal processing, improved algorithms to detect and classify targets, reduce noise and clutter, the application of machine learning in the development of radar and so on.  And not only are we picking up new unidentified bogeys on radar, but also on sonar as well.

“Missing” books in the Bible?  Big nope!

The Rogan interview then took a bizarre turn and started to derail as far as I’m concerned as Congresswoman Luna linked the topic of UAPs to the “missing books of the Bible.” In fact, there are no “missing books” in the Bible. Along with the sixty-six books in the Old and New Testaments, there are perhaps fifty or sixty other texts, or fragmentsof texts such as the Old Testament Apocrypha (e.g., Baruch, Maccabees, Tobit), that Catholics have in their recommended edition and which liturgical Protestants (e.g., Episcopalians and perhaps Lutherans) also have in their recommended edition.   The reason is too complicated and irrelevant to go into here, but if you are curious, this link may be useful.

Additionally, there were New Testament letters such as The Epistle of Barnabas, the Epistle of Clement, and III Corinthians along with books such as the Didache and the Shepherd of Hermas.  Some New Testament books were forgeries (e.g., the Gospel of Thomas and the Apocalypse of Peter) that were not authored by Thomas or Peter. Finally, there are Old Testament books that are also forgeries (e.g., II and III Enoch, the Book of Jubilees), collectively referred to as the pseudepigrapha. Of these pseudepigrapha, Enoch I and the Assumption of Moses stand out and are somewhat different from the others because they may have been quoted by the Apostle Jude in his New Testament book (Jude). Or, at least Jude and the authors of these books knew of the citations floating around.

The leaders of Judaism met in the first century AD to decide which books would be in their Bible. The early Christians likewise voted on which books would be included in the New Testament. Some books, such as Hebrews and II Peter and III John, were accepted as authoritative and included in today’s Bible, while others, such as the Acts of Pilate or the Gospel of Nicodemus, were left out. They are not missing; they were simply never accepted as the divine Word. Nor are Christians “forbidden” to read them, though they can be confusing and some people young in the faith can lose sight of the purpose of Scripture.  But I’ve read parts of them myself.

So why is Congresswoman Luna interested in these books, and what do they have to do with UAPs? The answer is that some of the books, especially Enoch I, speak of mysterious places such as heaven and/or hell, or supernatural beings that travel from one realm to another in ways that mortals like us cannot. She is suggesting that the author of Enoch (who is almost certainly not Enoch) understood knowledge that she believes the U.S. government is keeping from us: that we are being visited by what almost seem to be supernatural beings from other dimensions who are not constrained by time or our laws of physics. Like the angel who apparently passed through the walls of a dungeon to free Peter from prison (Acts 12:5-17). I read fifty years ago where people tried to persuade others that the prophet Ezekiel was describing a flying saucer in the opening chapters of his book. I don’t find this argument to be personally persuasive, however.

Congresswoman Luna is a MAGA Republican, so she and I would agree on very few policy initiatives, as I–an independent voter–do not identify with MAGA. However, she seems to be someone who loves her family and country and an otherwise reasonable member of Congress, and she has served the U.S. in uniform, so she sees the issue from “both sides of the fence. Perplexity sums up her credibility as follows:

“Regarding her credibility, Luna has established credentials through military service, education, and elected office. However, her public statements—such as those about interdimensional beings and secret UFO evidence—have sparked debate and skepticism in the wider public and expert communities. Her credibility as a congresswoman is solid based on her background and elected status, but the specific extraordinary claims she has made are met with scrutiny and require independent verification for scientific validation.”

Summary

What have we learned from the Rogan podcast with Congresswomen Luna?  Well, if you believe in the veil of secrecy on this topic, then Congresswoman Luna provides you with a brief glimpse of what lies behind the veil. She knows more than she is saying, but she is not willing to risk losing her job and going to prison for betraying official secrets.  She hints at that when she talks about what she has heard in the SCIF room.

If you go to the main (home) page of this website and enter “dimensions” on  the search prompt, you’ll find more information on dimensions and UAPs. I also have an article on the fourth dimension here.
